Our Story
The San Antonio Mar Thoma Congregation began as a prayer group in July 2011 under the Austin Mar Thoma Church, uniting firm believers in Christ. Our faith journey has been marked by steadfast devotion, reflected in our twice-monthly celebrations of Holy Communion, divine services every other Sunday, and weekly prayer meetings held on Wednesday evenings.
On January 1, 2018, the prayer group received congregation status as per the kalpana from The Most Rt. Rev. Dr. Isaac Mar Philoxenos Episcopa. Today, our congregation continues to grow, with 27 families dedicated to serving the San Antonio community and spreading God's word.
Guiding the next generation remains a cornerstone of our mission, with Sunday School classes held every weekend to nurture their spiritual growth and lead them in the path of the Lord.
We invite you to join us as we grow in faith and serve His purpose together.
